APA HeathCARE has another health fair coming up! It's the South Asian Network Health Fair on Feb 21st (9:00am-2:00pm). There will be two shifts: 9-11:30am and 11:30am-2pm (we'd like 5ish people per shift). The health fair will be at:

Cholesterol, glucose, BP screenings, and lots of client counseling. The help would be most appreciated by all!

HBV Week Lunchtime Lectures! 2/17-19 in 63-105
UCLA APAMSA has been working along with the LA Liver Disease Task Force to create educational material and promote awareness about the devastating but preventable illness, especially in undeserved communities. With these goals in mind, we are very excited to present to you the following lunch talks:
Wed 02/17 - Free lunch with RSVP
Dr. Steven Han, Director of the Hepatology Research Center and Assistant Director of the Asian Liver Program, will discuss current progress and updates in Hepatitis B Management.
Thu 02/18 - Free lunch with RSVP
Dr. Koy Parada will discuss the current Hep B free efforts of the Los Angeles County Hepatitis B Coalition.
Fri 02/19 - Forum/Discussion- Free lunch with RSVP
Come gather in a large group setting to discuss the current direction of Hep B awareness, research, treatment, and leadership.

Bone Marrow Coordinator: Directs bone marrow donor registration drives addressing the need for greater Asian and Asian-American representation in the National Marrow Registry, oversees education initiatives on the importance of registration for patients with leukemias and other life-threatening disorders (one position only).
Webmaster: Maintains the UCLA APAMSA website and oversees the technological aspects of the organization (one position only).
